Unfortunately, the very warm weather (10 degrees plus!) caused the course to deteriorate so badly during the first run that it proved impossible to complete a 2nd run and the race was cancelled. And so this proved to be the end to my training and racing in New Zealand for another year.  I am so looking forward to two weeks off at home before heading out to the Austrian Tyrol to continue my early-season training and racing. |
