I have just come in from a gruelling double-session of GS training in Nukabira. We began at 8.30am and, after a short break for lunch, finished at 3.30pm. Despite the time difference, I was actually really pleased with training today; and this is only the first training session. I do, however, feel about 5,500 miles away from turkey, cranberry stuffing and Cadbury's as it's possible to be!! Not surprising, I suppose, when that's almost exactly how far away from home I am at this moment.  Discussing the previous training run with my Dad and Flo. Looking forward to an early night and to more GS training tomorrow, the first day of 2014!! |
